• Always have re-arm kits (MA7214) available to service your PFD.
• Check the date of the inflator cap to ensure it has not expired.
• If you need to jump from any height, always fold your arms over
your chest to keep the PFD in place when entering the water.
• Avoid unnecessary exposure to sunlight. Sunlight will degrade the
performance of the textile components.
• Use extreme caution around sharp objects.
• Avoid all unnecessary activities that will be abrasive to the device.
• When the PFD is inflated by CO
2
gas, the gas will permeate
through the fabric over long periods of time. Topping up the
inflatable cell by oral tube may be necessary.
• Inflatable PFDs are not designed for use in white water or during
other high-speed activities.
• A PFD will not protect you from impact.
• Dropping this PFD in water may result in inadvertent inflation.
• Inadvertent inflation in a tight space may damage the PFD.
