6. Attach the calibration test crank (4) to the calibration test shaft. Turn the crank until an
even ow of fertiliser comes out of all feeders. Empty the calibration test trays.
7. Rotate the shaft counterclockwise 1 round per second using the calibration test crank.
An area of 100 m² is obtained by turning the crank 22 rounds.
8. Pull out the calibration test trays and weigh the quantities they now contain.
The calibration test quantity obtained corresponds to the area of 100 m², so the
quantities for a hectare will be hundredfold.
If the weighing result does not match the desired quantity and the machine is
not equipped with a gearbox, adjust the length of the roller in accordance with
section 6.5.5. ADJUSTING THE WIDTH OF THE FEEDER ROLLER. If the weighing
result does not match the desired quantity and the machine is equipped with a
gearbox, adjust gearbox control lever (3). The feeding quantity increases when
the value of the adjustment scale increases.
9. Repeat the calibration test. Make sure that the result is sufficiently close to the target
quantity.
10. Reinsert the cotters.
11. Turn the crank to bring the calibration test trays to the seeding position.
12. Put the transmission cover back in place.

DANGER
Before performing the calibration test, ensure that the tractor’s parking brake is
engaged. If the machine is equipped with markers, ensure that their two ball valves (2)
are closed.
The ball valve of the marker is closed when the handle (1) is perpendicular to
the hydraulic hose.
