7.7. Wheel drive

7.7.1. Tightening the wheel drive chain

Figure. 7.7.1. - 171. Opening the wheel drive housing

1. Open and remove the two fastening bolts (1,3) of the wheel drive housing and the

housing cover (2).

2.  Open the mounting nut (1) located at the end of the chain guide.
3.  Push the wheel drive chain (2) away from the guide.
4.  Tighten the chain by moving the guide towards the transmission axle.
5.  Tighten the mounting nut (1) of the chain guide and check the chain de ection.

The maximum allowed chain de ection is 10 mm.

6. Reattach the housing cover and fasten the two bolts of the cover.

Use new locknuts to install.
