The light sensor has been factory set to a default of
05
for best use in
most light conditions. Light sensitivity can be increased or decreased
from a minimum of
01
to a maximum of
10
in order to turn the device on
or off earlier or later at dawn and at dusk.
The configuration of the sensitivity of the sensor changes depending
on the use of the “day” or “night” mode. The following table shows the
behaviour of the device according to the settable functions.
Maximum value 10. Maximum light sensitivity.
“Day” mode: It anticipates the start-up in the morning and de-
lays the shut-down during night.
“Night” mode: It delays the evening start-up and anticipates
the shut-down in the morning.
Value 5. Average light sensitivity.
Factory setting, which is suited for most light conditions.
Minimum value 1. Minimum light sensitivity.
“Day” mode: It delays the start-up in the morning and antici-
pates the shut-down during night.
“Night” mode: It anticipates the evening start-up and delays
the shut-down in the morning.
1. With the display on, press the SEL+SET keys simultaneously for at
least 2 seconds, to enter the SETUP MENU. If the device is in power
saving mode, press any key to turn on the display.
