Owner’s Manual

Installing Drivers

Plug in and turn on your computer. As your computer boots,
it automatically detects the MultiModemZPX, and the

New

Hardware Found dialog box appears.

In the

New Hardware Found dialog box, select Driver from

disk provided by hardware manufacturer (the default
selection). Then click

OK. The Install from Disk window

appears.

Insert the MultiModemZPX Drivers disk into your computer's
floppy drive, select the drive letter (A:\ is the default), and
click

OK. The computer installs the software drivers needed

to communicate with your MultiModemZPX and then
displays the Windows 95 desktop.

Installation of the MultiModemZPX is complete. If you plan to
use the provided communications software, install it now
according to the instructions provided in your corresponding
software manual.

Verifying Configuration

Windows 95 Plug and Play

Use the following procedure to check the assignments Windows
has made for your modem:

Click

Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and

double-click the

System icon.

When the

System Properties sheet appears, click the Device

Manager tab. A list of device types appears.

Double-click

Modem for a list of modems installed in your

computer.

Double-click

Multi-Tech MT5634ZPX. The Modem

Properties sheet for your particular MultiModemZPX model
appears.
