MTC Cable Phone
Voice Mail
When you're away or if you just don't get to the phone in
time, callers are able to leave you a message. Callers can
even leave a message while you are on the phone. If you
decide not to pick up an incoming call using Call Waiting,
the caller will be redirected to your voice mail. The next
time you pick up the telephone you will hear a "stutter"
dial tone indicating that you have a message waiting.
If your telephone has a message waiting indicator light,
it will be lit when you have a message waiting.
Setting Up Your Voice Mail
To set up your MTC Cable Phone Voice Mail service,
follow these easy-to-use instructions.
1. F rom your MTC N umber dial * 9 8 or dial (845)
586-1001.
2. Y ou will be prompted to setup / initiali z e your
account and setup your greeting
3. O nce completed you will be directed to the main
menu of your mailbox
Accessing Your Voice Mail Remotely
If you are dialing from your cable phone, you can dial
* 9 8 instead of your phone number to access the voicemail
system.
1. Dial 845-586-1001 from any phone
2. When prompted enter the 10 digit phone number
for the mailbox
3. Enter your pin followed by #
4. If you have new messages, the messages are
identified.
