Introduction
This manual is an important part of your delivery. It explains the usage and
purpose of the Hand Detector Probe 400DH.
Please read this manual carefully and make yourselves familiar with the Hand
Detector Probe 400DH before using it.
The Hand Detector Probe 400DH may only be used by skilled personnel and
may only be used for its intended purpose.
Please pay special attention to the security and warning signs, to avoid per-
sonal injuries and damaging the product.

Always keep the manual near you when working with the analyzer, to be able

Intended Usage
The hand detector probe 400DH cannot be used for personal protection or con-
tinuous monitoring tasks!
The hand detector probe 400DH is available with different interchangeable sen-
sor heads and can be used:
Gas Leak detector to detect gas leaks in an installation area
Spillage test to locate leaks at flue pipes
The hand detector probe 400DH detects measurement components and dis-
plays them.
The instrument was manufactured according relevant norms and regulations. It
must be used within its intended use.
The hand detector probe 400DH may not be modified from the design or safety
engineering.
Modifications of any kind by the user will render the declaration of conformity

valid European and national regulations.
