CONTROL PRO

Supply the voltage via separators and ensure that current paths can be
short circuited. Fit the separator, clearly labeled, close to the device's power
supply so that it is freely accessible. This ensures that the device can be re-
placed with ease in the event of a defect.

Wiring information

Note this procedure for the wiring:

To obtain a better overview when connecting cables, only use as many
leads as necessary.

Note the connection diagram.

ü

Use only the specified cables for wiring. Note the cable recommendation.

ü

Wire the leads to the system periphery [

Section 6.5.4, Page 51].

1. Strip insulation from leads and wires.

2. Crimp stranded wires with wire end sleeves.

when wiring the device.

If you want to route Ethernet connections from a control cabinet or building,
we recommend the use of fiber-optic cables (in accordance with the IEC
61850-90-4 recommendation).
