Inhalation with a mouthpiece is the most effective met-
hod. Mask inhalation is only recommended for persons
who cannot inhale with the mouthpiece (children under
5 years of age or elderly or physically handicapped per-
sons).
To connect the baby mask to the nebulizer, attach the short side
of the baby angle (optional listening option) to the nozzle of
the nebulizer head. Then place the mask on the long side of the
contra-angle handpiece.
Hold the base unit in your hand and
press the
ON/OFF button.
Hold the base unit in your hand and
press the ON/OFF button
until it stops flashing.
If you are using an external battery,
remove the USB cable from the base unit (see page 14).
• If the drug used has a high surface activity, it can flow out
of the mesh insert. The
MicroDrop® mesh
may then exhibit
a reduced nebulization rate.
• A hissing noise during inhalation is normal and is not a
problem.

The background light of the
ON/OFF
button flashes slowly (approx. 4 sec.
interval) during inhalation.
If too much condensate or saliva accumulates on
the outside of the nebulizer head, nebulization may
stop. Please switch the device off and on again. If
the device then does not fog, switch it off again and
remove the moisture by shaking the nebulizer head
or using a lint-free cloth. Then turn it back on.
