EDS-518A Series User’s Manual

Featured Functions

Time

EDS-518A has a time calibration function based on information from an NTP server or user
specified Time and Date information. Functions such as Auto warning “Email” can add real-time
information to the message.

NOTE

EDS-518A does not have a real time clock. The user must update the

Current Time

and

Current Date

to set the initial time for EDS-518A after each reboot, especially when the network

does not have an Internet connection for an NTP server or there is no NTP server on the LAN.
