set entry modes
Multiple text entry modes make it easy for you to
enter names, numbers, and messages. Press

in
any text entry screen to select one of the following
entry methods.
To set up Primary or Secondary entry mode:
1 Press

> Entry Setup in any text entry view.
2 Select Primary Setup or Secondary Setup .
3 Select one of the following options:
entry mode
Primary The primary text entry method (see
below to set).
Numeric Enter numbers only (see page 31).
Symbol Enter symbols only (see page 31).
Secondary The secondary text entry method
(see below to set).

Tap Enter letters and numbers by
pressing a key one or more times

iTAP™ Let the phone predict each word as
