Phone Call Displays and Alerts
The following phone call displays and alerts appears on the radio display when you make and receive
phone calls. The radio also uses alert tones to indicate the current status.

NOTICE:
You have the option of sending additional digits (overdial), such as an extension
number, credit card, or PIN numbers to the phone system. If the radio is preprogrammed for live
overdial, every digit entered after the call is connected, is sent to the phone system.
If the radio is preprogrammed for buffered overdial, the digits pressed are entered into memory
and then sent when the
PTT
button is pressed. Press the
PTT
button to send either digits or
voice, but not both at the same time.

Display Color Change On Channel
This feature provides visual channel identification for users to have a quick visual recognition on a
particular channel.
Your radio must be preprogrammed to allow you to use this feature.
When changing channels, the radio backlight on top display, radio keypad, and accessories (DRSM)
changes to the preprogrammed color.
