10. Using your Answering Machine
The phone can digitally record up to 12 minutes of messages.
The answering machine can be operated from:
• the base
• the handset
• remotely, from any other DTMF telephone, see page 35.

10.2 Listening to your messages
Using the base:
1. If there are new messages, press

and only they will be played.
Press and hold

to play all messages.
2. If there are no new messages, press

all messages will be played.
During playback:

to stop message playback.

to delete the current message.
Note
When in standby press and hold
E
for 2 seconds to delete all old
messages.
Using the handset:
1. If there is a new message press

and the new message will be played.
