FN1 Substitution Values

The Wedge and USB HID Keyboard hosts support an FN1 substitution feature. When enabled any FN1 character
(0x1b) in an EAN128 bar code is substituted with a value. This value defaults to 7013 (Enter Key).

To select an FN1 substitution value via bar code menus:

1.

Scan the bar code below.

2.

Look up the keystroke desired for FN1 Substitution in the

Table E-1 on page E-1

for the currently installed host

interface.

3.

Enter the 4-digit substitution value by scanning each digit in

Appendix D, Numeric Bar Codes
