iTAP® method
The iTAP software combines your key presses into
common words, and predicts each word as you enter
it. This can be faster than Tap method because your
phone combines the key presses into common words.
If iTAP method is not available as the Primary or Secondary
entry mode, see page 48.
1 Press a key one or more times to select a letter,
number, or symbol.
Your phone shows letters and numbers for that
key at the bottom of the screen, and highlights
one of them.
2 Press
S
left/right to highlight a different letter or
number.
Press Select to select and enter the highlighted
letter.
3 Repeat the steps above to enter more characters.
When you enter three or more characters in a
row, your phone may guess the rest of the word.
For example, if you enter prog , you might see:
