To save battery life, your backlight turns off when
you’re not using your phone. The backlight turns back
on when you press a key.
To set how long your phone waits before the
backlight turns off:
1 From the home screen, press the Left Soft key
(

) ( Start ).
2 Use the Directional key (

) to scroll to Settings
and press the Center Select key (
s
) to select it.
3 Scroll to Power Management and press the Center
Select key (
s
).
4 Edit the backlight setting fields and press the Left
Soft key (

) ( Done ) to save the settings.
