Dedicated Calls
Dedicated calls can be made from either the Base
Call button or from the keypad. Press the Base Call
button to make a call to the most commonly used
pre-programmed number or hold down one of the
keypad keys (0 to 9) for a preset period to make a
call to one of ten (1 of 10) preprogrammed numbers
which are the first ten entries (1 to 9, 0=10) in the
short form dial list. The selected number will be
displayed and the conversation can go ahead.
Manual Dialling
To make a call enter the telephone number, the
identity of the radio or group of radios via the keypad
(11), e.g. "213" followed by
or PTT:
Last Number Redial
The last number dialled by the radio is stored in the
memory of the radio. For status calls only the called
number will be stored, not the status message.
Partially entered numbers are also stored.
The stored number can be displayed when the radio
is in the IDLE STATE. This number may be recalled
by pressing the PTT key (18). The number may also
be edited, see
Keypad Edit
.
