The ESSI1 signal descriptions for the DSP56309 are listed in

Serial Transmit Data

ÑSTD0 is used for

transmitting data from the serial Transmit
shift register. STD0 is an output when data is
being transmitted.

This signal is driven by a weak keeper after
reset.

Port C 5

ÑThe default configuration

following reset is GPIO input PC5. When this
port is configured as PC5, signal direction is
controlled through PRR0. The signal can be
configured as an ESSI signal STD0 through
PCR0.
