Charging Procedures
The charger pockets 1–6 accommodates a radio with battery attached only. The charger pockets 7–12
accommodates either a radio with battery attached or standalone battery.
When and where to use:
IMPORTANT: Prior to charging a battery with radio, turn the radio off. Batteries charge best at
room temperature.
• The 12-Pocket Multi-Unit Charger (MUC) Kit is able to charge DLR Series radios and CLR Series
radios with batteries, or radios with batteries and holsters.
• This 12-Pocket MUC Kit is able to charge standalone batteries as listed in Motorola Solutions
Authorized Batteries on page 7 .
• The total charging time ranges from 3–7 hours depending on the number of radios with batteries or
stand-alone batteries being charged simultaneously.
Procedure:
1 Plug the charger end of the power supply cord into the power receptacle located at the bottom of
the charger.
2 Plug the wall receptacle end of the power supply cord into appropriate AC outlet.
A successful power-up sequence in indicated by a Single Flash Green on the charger indicator.
