The motor yoke spacing

is the Center to Center distance between the
motor contact points securing the MotorMate to the motor drive
shaft housing. See Reference Image

Place
smaller washer provided
and bracket over holes
while fitting the bracket around the bolts holding the
Anode.
Original washer fits under under head of bolt.
Secure bolts tightly
Remove anode bolts & replace with included 6mm x 30mm
hex head bolts. In addition, remove side bolts
and washers
.

Caps secure the motor and where the outboard
motor center to center measurements are made.

Insert
MotorMate Locking Pins into holes on the
brackets. Straighten motor. Lower motor very
slowly and stop one inch away to make sure
MotorMate End Caps are aligned with the contact
points on the motor. Continue lowering the motor
while aligning the MotororMate End Caps with the
motor contact points until the motor is securely
held in place.
