I. Scope 

This  specification stipulates  the technical  requirements regarding spark plug  removal and refitting 
of  Weichai  series  engines  such  as  WP5NG,  WP6NG,  WP7NG,  WP10NG,  WP12NG, 
WP13NG,12M26NG and ect. 

II. Normative references

III. Requirements and steps for removal and refitting of spark plug 

1. Before removing spark plug 

Before removing the spark plug, purge the cylinder head surface with an air nozzle or high pressure 
air as far as possible. 

Then  remove  the  high-voltage  coil  (when  removing  the  high-voltage  coil,  make  sure  to  pinch  the 
head, do not pull the high-voltage coil body).
