B/J/V .........Assumed workpiece transfer B-axis position
Specify B-axis position for workpiece transfer using one of the following coordinate
value.
B: Absolute coordinate value
J: Incremental coordinate value
V: Coordinate value in the machine coordinate system
Tolerance is calculated based on this position data.
K ...............B-axis return travel from the workpiece pushing detected position (positive value).
If this command is omitted, the B-axis is returned automatically by servo motor error in
the one-direction positioning mode.
When a K command is specified, the B-axis is returned by the specified amount
without calculating servo motor error.
In B-axis return controlled by the K command, positioning mode is not one-
direction positioning.
F................Skip feedrate for checking the pushing of workpiece
If the F command is omitted, the feedrate is regarded as "30" mm/min ("1" in./
min). (Usually, the F command is omitted.)
Q ...............Allowable tolerance for workpiece transfer position
If the position obtained from the workpiece pushing detection and return operation falls
within the range of B (J or V)
Q, the chuck is clamped and the next process operation
continues.

If the obtained position is improper, transfer is tried again; if the result is
still outside the specified range, an alarm occurs.

If the Q command is omitted, the value is regarded as "1" mm ("0.04"
in.).
Set the approach point, to be specified preceding the G38 command, at a point where the
time required by chuck 2 to come into contact is longer than 1 second.
