Tailstock Joint Position Adjustment (ZL-253)
The tailstock joint position is set using a parameter. If the tailstock joint is impossible at the set
joint position due to some reasons, the following alarm occurs disabling axis movement.
EX0380 TAILSTOCK CLAMP/UNCLAMP TIME OVER
In this case, adjust the tailstock joint position by following the procedure indicated below.
<Adjustment procedure>
1)
Press the
(RESET) key.
The following alarm message is displayed.
EX1324 ADJUST TAILSTOCK JOINT POSITION
2)
Press the HEAD CHANGE switch
(head 1) to
select turret 1.
3)
Display the OPERATION PANEL screen.
4)
Set "VALID" for TLSTCK POS. ADJ. using the
cursor control keys.
If "VALID" is set for TLSTCK POS. ADJ.,
interlocks related with axis movement are all
cancelled.
Therefore, move an axis very carefully. If an
axis is moved carelessly, the tailstock might be
hit against the turret causing damage to the
machine.
5)
Select any of the following modes with the MODE
selection switch.
