Starting and Stopping Rotary Tool Spindle

The procedures for starting and stopping rotary tool spindle rotation in manual operation are
described here.

<Starting the rotary tool spindle>

Place the DOOR INTERLOCK key-switch in the

NORMAL

position.

Close the front door.

Place the PANEL key-switch in one of the positions
indicated below.

(ON)

(PANEL/EDIT)

Select any of the following modes with the MODE
selection switch.

(H)

(JOG)

(RPD)

(ZRN)

Press the MILLING switch

(MIL).

The rotary tool spindle is selected.
The indicator in the switch is lit.

Index the turret station number where a rotary tool is
mounted using the turret indexing operation.
