PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLATION.
We recommend this product be installed by a qualified, and experienced technician. If you are unsure of any of the below
directions and or your ability to correctly and securely install this product, please contact Moose Racing or your local dealer
for help. It is highly recommended to install trail bag on a bike with rear rack or supports. It is the rider’s responsibility to
make sure the product is mounted and secure before each use. The ADV1 Trail bag and components must not be mounted
directly against muffler, other hot parts, and moving parts. Please note your motorcycle may require a heat shield to prevent
ADV1 Trail bag from direct contact with muffler or heat of exhaust.
1. Pack contents in bag with heavier items at the bottom for better weight distribution and balance. Close the top opening.
Push as much air out as possible. Roll the top down a minimum of 3 times. Attach the side quick release buckles and pull
adjuster strap snug. (as shown in illustration)
2. Secure two top cinch straps and cinch tight.
3. Position bag on seat or tail section of motorcycle. Position rolled section of bag toward back of motorcycle to not trap
air/rain. Make sure bag is centered and free from all moving and hot parts. Bag can be positioned length ways front to back
or across left to right.
4. Secure bag to motorcycle using 4 side straps. Straps must not be mounted to any moving or hot parts of motorcycle and
must not come in contact with any hot or moving parts of motorcycle. Unbuckle strap from bag. Loop strap around
motorcycle frame, rear footpeg mount, or other non-moving part of motorcycle. Pass buckle through inside of loop to create
a noose. Re-attach to buckle on bag and cinch tight.
5. Secure all loose ends to keep away from moving or hot parts. Any extra strap can be folded and tucked inside elastic
loop attached to strap.
6. After bag is mounted, further adjustment may be needed to ensure the bag does not come into contact with
motorcycle’s muffler or moving parts. Before operating motorcycle, double check bag and straps are free from any moving
and hot parts or surfaces. Recheck all mounting points, stability and condition of bag and mounting straps at stops and before
each ride.
