Child Lock:
After switching on the control, the child lock function can be activated. To activate the
child lock, simultaneously operate the increase heat setting key
and decrease heat
setting key , and then operate the increase heat setting key again.
“ L ” meaning
LOCKED will appear in all the heater displays and the control cannot be changed.
To deactivate the child lock, simultaneously operate the increase heat setting
key
and decrease heat setting key , and then operate the decrease heat setting
key again. The
” L ” symbol, meaning LOCKED should now have disappeared.
Key Lock:
While the Key Lock function is active it is only possible to switch the appliance off. If
the key lock button
is pressed and held for two seconds the lock will be activated
and acknowledged by a buzzer. After this two second period the key lock indicator
will flash and the heater will be locked.
Timer function:
The timer function is available for the following situations:
Minute minder timer (1-99 min):
Touching the key once will activate the minute minder timer (no cooking zone
display will be flashing).
“00” will appear indicated that the timer is active.
Touch to increase the time or touch to decrease the time. You can adjust the
timer between 0 and 99 minutes.
The sound signal will be stopped by operating any key.
Cooking zone timer (1-99 min):
When the hob is switched on, an independent timer can be programmed for every
cooking zone. To set a timer for a cooking zone you must touch the key. It is
important to remember that the first time this key is selected it would operate the
minute minder but by touching the key again it will then select an active cooking
zone, touching this key additional times will allow you to scroll through the active
heater zones indicated by the flashing Cooking Zone Indicator.
Touch to increase the time or touch to decrease the time. By touching
additional timers can be set and you can also toggle through your active timers.
All timers will be erased by switching off the appliance but the minute minder will
continue to operate.
To erase a timer you must toggle through the timers using the key until you have
found the correct one and then touch and decrease the time to
“00”. Alternatively
you can touch and simultaneously until
“00” is shown.
Touching any button will stop the timer alarm.
