Before you begin installing the fan, Switch
power off at Service panel and lock service dis-
connecting means to prevent power from being
switched on accidentally. When the service dis-
connecting means cannot be locked, securely
fasten a prominent warning device, such as a
tag, to the service panel.
Before installing this fan make sure the outlet box is
properly installed to the house structure. To reduce
the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury,
mount to outlet box or supporting system acceptable
for fan support. (Mounting must support at least 35
lbs.)
Use metal outlet box suitable for fan support
(must support 35 lbs). Before attaching fan to
outlet box, ensure the outlet box is securley fas-
tened by at least two points to a structural ceil-
ing member ( a loose box will cause the fan to
wabble).
Use only the screws provided with
the outlet box.

Carefully turn the motor over so that
the upper housing is facing up. Re-
move the 3 screws holding the upper
housing. Save for later use.

Lift off the upper housing to reveal
the motor.

Place the fan body with the light fitter
pointing upward. Attache the 3 blades
as shown above.

Place the blade ring holder over
the leadwires and safety cable.
Place the blade ring holder onto
the blades aligning the screw
holes from the blades and ring
holder.

Install the motor screws by tighten-
ing securely.

Place the rubber gasket on the yoke
by threading the leadwires and safety
cable through the rubber gasket
aligning the holes from the gasket
and yoke.
