EDID MANAGEMENT
The EDID® system tells the source device the maximum capabilities of any
connected display(s). You can set the EDID to the capabilities of the display
connected to the receiver, a display connected to the transmitter's loop-out
port, or a default of 1080p with stereo audio, if no display is connected to the
transmitter. Perform one of the following steps to set the EDID.
•
Momentarily press the EDID button on the transmitter to get the EDID
from the display connected to the receiver.
•
Press and hold the EDID button for 3 seconds to get the EDID from the
display connected to the transmitter's loop-out port. If no display is
connected to the transmitter's loop-out port, it will get the internal EDID
of 1080p video with stereo audio instead.
