CHAPTER 7: Processing Credit Card

Transactions

The terminal electronically authorizes and captures credit transactions. These
transactions are settled with the merchant account during the Batch Close process.
The functionality for completing a purchase will vary depending upon how the
terminal has been configured.

IMPORTANT:

The instructions in this manual assume that
password protection and the invoice number
prompt have been enabled. These steps are
shaded to indicate that they are optional.
