CHAPTER 5: Configuring Your Terminal

Before you begin using your

Mobile 8100

terminal to process transactions, you

must power up your terminal and then configure it, inputting any special values
and parameters needed for the options you wish to use.

Refer to

CHAPTER 3: Features and Procedures

to determine what features and

functions you wish to enable during configuration.

Note:

Some features may require additional services from the Moneris Host.
Please contact your sales representative

When you have finished configuring your terminal, print a Configuration Parame-
ters report (see section

5.4: Print Configuration Parameters – ADMIN 16

for

instructions) and keep it in a safe place for reference in the event you need to
reconfigure your terminal.
