Digidata 1550 Low-Noise Data Acquisition System User Guide

Instrument Safety Labels

Safety labels are located on the instrument. Each Safety label consists of
a:

•

Signal Word panel, which implies a particular level of observation
or action (for example, CAUTION or WARNING). If a safety label
encompasses multiple hazards, the Signal Word corresponding
to the greatest hazard is used.

•

Message panel, which explains the hazard and any user action
required.

•

Safety Alert symbol, which indicates the type of potential
personal safety hazard.

Indicates Alternating Current

Indicates power on

Indicates power off

Indicates the location of the Protective Earth Ground Terminal

Indicates that you must not discard this electrical/electronic
product in domestic household waste
