workpiece to be fastened, etc. Before starting your
job, always perform a test operation to determine
the proper fastening time for your bolt or nut.
a.
Check the direction-of-rotation selector for the
correct directional setting (forward or reverse).
b.
Hold the tool firmly and place the socket over the
bolt or nut.
c.
Slide the lock-off switch to the unlocked position
and then depress the trigger switch to turn the
ratchet wrench on.
d.
Fasten the bolt or nut to the proper torque.
e.
To turn the wrench OFF, release the trigger
switch.
f.
After fastening, always check the torque with a
torque wrench.
NOTICE:
Hold the tool straight along the axis of the
bolt or nut.
Loosening Fasteners
The torque that is required to loosen a fastener
average 75% to 80% of the tightening torque,
depending on the condition of the contacting
surfaces. However, if rust or corrosion causes
seizing, more torque may be required.
Using as hand tool
You can use the tool as a hand ratchet wrench by
turning the tool in the direction arrows as illustrated.
In particular when loosening a stiff bolt/nut, loosen
it by hand first then turn the tool on.
NOTICE:
Excessive fastening torque may damage the
bolt/nut, the socket or the tool.
MAINTENANCE
To avoid serious personal injury,
always remove the battery pack
from the tool when cleaning or performing any
maintenance.
SERVICE
Preventive
maintenance
performed
by
unauthorized
personnel may result in misplacing of internal wires
and components which could cause serious hazard.
We recommend that all tool service be performed by
a MOKENEYE Factory Service Center or Authorized
MOKENEYE Service Station.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
When servicing, use only identical
replacement parts. Use of any
other parts could create a hazard or cause product
damage.
NOTICE:
Periodically inspect the entire product for
damaged, missing, or loose parts such as screws,
nuts, bolts, caps, etc. Tighten securely all fasteners
and caps and do not operate this product until all
missing or damaged parts are replaced. Please
contact customer service or an authorized service
center for assistance.
CLEANING
The tool may be cleaned most
effectively with compressed dry
air.
Always wear safety goggles
when cleaning tools with compressed air.
Ventilation openings and switch levers must be kept
clean and free of foreign matter. Do not attempt to
clean by inserting pointed objects through openings.
Certain cleaning agents and
solvents damage plastic parts.
Some of these are: gasoline, carbon tetrachloride,
chlorinated cleaning solvents, ammonia and house
hold detergents that contain ammonia.
STORAGE
Store the tool indoors in a place that is inaccessible
to children. Keep away from corrosive agents.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
Problem: Tool does not work.
Cause
Remedy
Low battery
capacity.
Charge the battery pack.
Tool is over-
loaded.
Release the trigger switch
and try again.
Battery pack is
over temperature.
Turn off the wrench and
cool the battery pack
under air flow.
Battery pack is not
installed properly.
Confirm that the battery
is locked and secured to
the tool.
Damaged switch.
Have the switch replaced
by an Authorized
MOKENEYE Service
Center or Service Station.
Problem: The socket cannot be installed.
Cause
Remedy
The socket does
not fit the adapter
or square drive
anvil.
Use a suitable adapter or
claimed capacity socket.
Problem: The motor is overheating.
Cause
Remedy
Be sure cooling
vents are free
of dust and
obstacles.
Clean and clear the vents. Do
not cover the vents with your
hand during operation.
