Service 20: Read PLC clock at outstation
When this service is executed, the clock data at the
secondary station is transferred to the primary station,
increased by the value “time_adjust” and output in the
primary station at the “rem_clock” function block output.
The service takes into account century changes, i.e. year 99
will be followed by year 00.
This service can be used in conjunction with the “lock_time”
input of the function block to determine whether the time at
primary station should be synchronised.
“lock_time” = 1: Read PLC clock at outstation
The clock data at the secondary station is increased by the
value “time_adjust” (at the primary station) and stored at
the FB “rem_clock” output at the primary station.

“lock_time” = 0: Synchronisation with PLC clock at
outstation
The clock data at the secondary station “requested_station”
is increased by the value “time_adjust” (at the primary
station). The new time value is output at the FB “rem_clock”
output and overwrites the PLC clock data at the primary
station.
