Meaning of operands

Commands

The “Command” input is used to specify the type of 
command as follows:

Write parameters 

= 02

Read parameters

= 03

Write slave parameters

With the write slave parameters command, you must 
specify the slave address at the “StationNo” input 
and the required parameter value at the “Parameter” 
input. Parameters are specified in byte format, but 
only the first 4 LS bits are relevant. Each bit is 
assigned to one parameter (i.e. function) of the 
ASi slave. 

If the request completes successfully (Active = 0 and 
Error = 0) the parameter value which was written is 
mirrored by „RetParam“. This shows that the slave 
has accepted the data.
