Earth-Free Operation

Observe all relevant safety regulations when operating an 
earth-free system.

Protect against high frequency interference signals

Mounting rails

All mounting rails must be mounted on to the mounting 
plate with a low impedance, over a large surface area, and 
must be correctly earthed. Use corrosion-protected moun-
ting rails.

In order to comply with radiation limit values in accor-
dance with EN 55011/ 2000, the supply cables of the 
module XN-BR-24VDC-D for supplying the gateway with 
power are to be fed through a ferrite ring (PS416-ZBX-
405). This is to be placed immediately next to the connec-
tion terminals. From there on, it is not permitted to make 
connections to further devices.
