S9 Removing the Control Tray
Follow sections “E3 Removing (and Replacing) the Glass” on page 24 and “E4 Placing the Infill
& Burners” on page 25 to remove the glass, burners, and infill. Remove the 8 screws on the
controls tray (shown shaded in the diagram below).
Remove the ‘engine’ by lifting up and to the right. This is still connected internally to the gas
hose and power cables. Once the top part of the ‘engine’ is lifted, disconnect the 4 pin connector
between the electronics part of the tray and the gas part of the tray. Also disconnect the ignition
and rectification leads from the black box on top of the modulator (shown in the picture on the next
page).

To remove the electronics tray, unscrew the one black screw shown and disconnect the white wire
connector. Lift the end of the tray where the screw was just removed and slide it out towards you.
