Finishing the Installation
F1 Gem Fuel Bed Installation
Place all the gems in a single layer atop the burners and fuel bed infill. Cover the entire area up to the
edges of the firebox or glass. The embers must not cover the pilot flame, inside the pilot guard must be
clear of gems.
Do not add additional gems use only the quantity in the bags provided. Do not heap or mound any
gems in the firebox space.
F2 Redwood Logs Fuel Bed Retainer Setup
Before installing logs onto the fire infill, first prepare the integrated infill retainers and the loose log
retainers; 103540. The kit includes 15 loose log retainers using finger folds to secure them to the infill
and to support the logs.
Flat retainer 103540.
Folded retainer 103540, all folds 90°.
With each retainer this fold supports the log.
