User Management Setup
Users can add / edit / delete user accounts with customized authority. Maximum additional user’s number
for the system is six.
Add a New User Account
Follow the steps below to create a new user account.
1. In User Authority Setup, click
to create new user.
2. Setup new account with user name and password.
3. Click
to finish creating new user.
NOTE
To setup user name and password, refer to the form below for the NVR setting rule of user name and pass-
word length and character categories.
Username Password
Length 2-32 characters 6-20 characters
Character Categories 1. alphabets: A-Z, a-z
2. numbers: 0-9
3. the ONLY special character avail-
able:
underscores “_”
(except of the first character)
1. alphabets and numbers:
A-Z/a-z and 0-9
(at least one alphabet and one num-
ber)
2. special characters: !#$%&'-.@^_~
Edit User Account
1. In User Authority Setup, select user account and click
to configure User Information setting.
2. Edit the user name.
3. Click
and enter new password to edit selected user’s password.
4. Click
to confirm changing password, or click to stop.
