Email Setup
Users can define the e-mail for receiving event / alarm notices.
SMTP Server
Users can select preferred SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) server. Default options are Gmail and Yahoo
Mail , users can also choose Custom to setup personal SMTP server.

Server Site: The NVR will automatically retrieve the server information from both Gmail and Yahoo
SMTP server. Users can only change this field under Custom .

Port: Users can change SMTP port to the preferred port. SMTP is commonly used for operating over
Internet port 465.

SSL: SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) provides communication security over the Internet. Check or un-check
the box to enable or disable SSL connection. SSL is enabled by default.

Account: Users can setup the SMTP account. Enter corresponding user name to the SMTP server. User
account is usually e-mail address.

Password: Enter the password related to above SMTP account.
Email Recipient
Edit the e-mail address where event / alarm notification will be sent. Refer to the following to setup all the
required information.

Email Address: Enter preferred e-mail address for event or alarm notifications.
