Camera IR/Exposure Setup
The NVR allows users to configure the IR function and exposure settings of the IP camera.
Exposure Settings
Exposure settings control the amount of light received by the image sensor. System changes the width of
lens diaphragm, shutter speed, and other exposure parameters to achieve different result.
1. Select a suitable exposure mode for the selected camera from the Exposure Mode drop-down list. Expos-
ure modes may vary accordingly with the IP camera model. Refer to the IP Camera's user manual for fur-
ther information before setting up relevant parameters (e.g. shutter speed, max gain, etc).

to save the settings, or click
to reload the settings.
IR Function Setup
IR Function changes IR cut filter's reaction to allow/prevent infrared (IR) light reaching the image sensor.

IR Mode: Defines the action of the IR cut filter. Refer to the descriptions of each option and select a
suitable mode.

Auto: Allows the camera to decide the occasion to remove the IR cut filter. It will not process the
received image or use light sensor to detect light resource.

Manual On: Removes the IR cut filter to deliver clear images in black and white under low light
level.

Manual Off: Activates the IR cut filter to filter out the IR light and allow the camera to deliver
colored high quality images.
