Thank you for buying a high-quality Mobilex product. These instructions for use contain a description and
important information about the use of the medical device. It is intended to help you to use the product correctly
and safely. It is very important to read the instructions carefully before using the device. Pay particular attention
to the safety guidelines and always follow them. Mobilex is constantly trying to improve and upgrade its products.
Therefore we reserve the right to change specifications and technical data of the product without further notice.
Intended use of the device
Intended use of the wheelchair is to move around in a sitting position, independently or with the help of an
attendant. Using the wheelchair for purposes other than those indicated above, is prohibited.
Indications
Manual wheelchairs are indicated for people with mobility limitations who have problems with walking, standing or
sitting without stable support. The wheelchair is indicated for use to move around in a sitting position, independently
or with the help of an attendant. Using the wheelchair for purposes other than those indicated above, is prohibited.
Contraindications
The wheelchair should not be used by people who cannot maintain a stable sitting position. Contraindications cannot
be related to one specific clinical picture, and they depend on individual evaluation of potential user’s health status.
The choice of orthopedic aid appropriate for a given clinical picture must be always made with the help of a
specialist physician or physiotherapist. In addition, observe the safety information in Chapter 2.
Areas of use
The product can be used in home care, health and long-term care facilities, and hospitals.

2. Safety requirements

Make sure that this manual has been read by all persons using the device.
•
The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for damage and/or injury resulting from failure to follow the
operating instructions.
•
Only use the product in flawless condition.
•
If defects or errors are detected you must immediately contact the dealer.
•
Follow all manufacturer's recommendations and warnings.
•
Be aware of the information on the product label.
•
Only use the product for the described purpose.

Don’t climb on to the device
•
Never make changes to the wheelchair.
•
The device must only be used on stable surface.
•
When adjusting the device the user must take care not to squeeze the fingers or other body parts.
•
Ensure that all 4 wheels are always in contact with the surface during use. This will ensure proper
wheelchair balance and will help avoid accidents.
•
Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 120 kg.
•
Using the wheelchair or exposing it to direct and prolonged contact with the sun may lead to skin burns.
•
It is not recommended to use the wheelchair on the beach, in mud or in extreme weather conditions.
•
The person assisting the disabled person in the wheelchair should be physically capable and completely
healthy.
•
Avoid leaving the wheelchair near sources of heat and open flames (campfires, stoves). Smoking is also not
recommended during use as the wheelchair is not fire resistant.
Parts supplied
The device is supplied in a carton box, disassembled for easier transportation.
The contents of a package are:
