By using this bracket set, you can install the Digital Recorder to the EIA rack. Space for 4 units
is required for installing.
1. Remove 2 screws from one side of the re-
corder.
(Also remove 2 screws from the other side of
the recorder.)
Screw on the
Recorder
2. Fix the bracket 1 to the recorder with
the removed screw.
(Fix it on the other side in the same way.)
Screw on the
Recorder
3. Remove 4 insulators at the bottom.
Unscrew the scews to remove the insulators.
INSTALLATION TO THE EIA RACK
NOTE:
• As the digital recorder is heavy, it may cause injury when dropped.
Working by two or more persons is recommended.
• Do not remove the top cover.
• Some parts keep holding voltage even after the power switch is turned
off. To prevent electric shocks, be sure to turn off the recorder's power
and unplug the power cord from the power outlet before installing. To
protect the HDDs, do not move the recorder at least one minute after the
power is turned off.
• Read the cautions stamped or labelled on the recorder's chassis and
parts.
• Do not touch the internal wires. They have been routed or clamped in-
tentionally from the parts that generate heat.

4. Fix the bracket 2 to the rack.
Fix the bracket 2 anywhere on the rack. (Use
screws that fit the rack.)
(Fix the other side of the bracket in the same
way.)

5. Fix the recorder to the rack.
Fix the recorder equipped with the bracket 1 to
the bracket 2 on the rack.
(Use screws that fit the rack.)
