Setting the time by radio time signal
1. Press the band selector button for two or more
seconds; a short beep will be heard and the
time-of-day display will start flashing.
2. Press the MEMO button simultaneously with a
radio time signal. The time-of-day display will
change as shown in the following example.
Example:
If the time displayed is between 11:00 and
11:29, it will change to 11:00.
If it is between 11:30 and 11:59, it will change to
12:00.
NOTE:
If the battery is disconnected or fuse removed for an
extended time, the time indicated changes to “AM
1:00”. In this case, you must re-set the clock to the
correct time.

The radio and CD player can be used while the
starter switch is in the “ON” or “ACC” position.

Operate the controls of the audio system
only when the vehicle is stopped. Operat-
ing them while driving could lead to an
accident.

Adjust the speaker volume to a level that
allows you to hear sounds outside the
vehicle. If the speaker volume is too high,
you may be unable to hear warning
sounds and an accident could result.
