CAUTION
The battery may be discharged and the engine
impossible to restart if the hazard warning
lamps are operated for an extended period of
time.
The hazard warning lamps may be used as a warn-
ing to other vehicles when you suddenly find it nec-
essary to stop your vehicle in emergencies.
The lamps can flash in any of the starter switch
positions.
Pressing switch causes all turn signal lamps to
flash simultaneously. At the same time, indicator
lamps
start flashing.
Pressing the switch again causes the lamps to go
out.
<Vehicles with fog lamps>
Use the front fog lamps when you drive in fog,
snow, or other poor visibility conditions.
The fog lamps operate only when the lighting switch
is in the
or
position.
When you press the fog lamp switch , the fog
lamps come on simultaneously with the
indicator
lamp.
To turn off the fog lamps, press the fog lamp switch
again or turn the lighting switch to the “OFF” posi-
tion.
