Measures against static electricity for commercially available
CompactFlash cards in compliance with the EMC directives
The C Controller system may be affected by static electricity discharged to a commercially
available CompactFlash card.
This section explains measures for preventing static electricity discharged to a
commercially available CompactFlash card.
POINT
Although information in this section is based on the requirements and standards
of current regulations, it does not guarantee that the entire machinery constructed
according to the information will comply with the EMC Directive.
The compliance with the EMC Directive must be finally confirmed by the
manufacturer of each machinery.
(1) Preventive measure example
Fully cover all the exposed metal part of the CompactFlash card except the terminal
part with an insulation sheet as shown below.
