Testing the Module Before Wiring

(1) Unit test

Perform a unit test to check the Ethernet adapter module for hardware failure.

Turn off the power.

Connect PORT1 and PORT2 of the Ethernet

adapter module with an Ethernet cable.

Turn on the power.

With the switch on the Ethernet adapter module,

repeat 3 cycles of STOP



RESET/TEST



STOP,

taking less than 1 second per cycle. (The MODE
LED flashes after the third cycle.)

Hold the switch on the Ethernet adapter module

in the RESET/TEST position for 1 second or
more.

The unit test starts.

The MODE LED starts flashing, and the





LEDs repeat turning and off in the sequence of





and so on.
