Rough guide on replacement timing

When the Replace Filter lamp lights up
The lamp lights up after approximately 8 years with “Silent”
manual operation and approximately 1.6 years with “Turbo”
manual operation.
l
When the HEPA filter becomes very dirty and omits
bad odors
l
When odors cannot be removed from the activated
charcoal filter after soaking and washing it
Turn OFF the operation On/Off switch, disconnect the
power plug, and check that the blower fan is stopped
before replacing filters.

Remove the HEPA filter and
activated charcoal filter and then
install new ones.

Insert the power plug and then reset
the Replace Filter lamp.
Press until you
hear the “blip,
blip blip” sounds
(approx. 3
seconds).

The Replace Filter lamp goes out.
(The lamp is reset.)

The life of the HEPA filter and activated charcoal
filter differs depending on operating environment and
conditions of use.
l
When replacing the HEPA filter, also replace the
activated charcoal filter at the same time.
l
The HEPA filter cannot be reused even if it is washed. When
it becomes dirty, be sure to replace it with a new one.
l
In the following cases, odors may adhere to the HEPA filter
and main unit. Clean the main unit and replace the HEPA filter.
