Example of changeover of the base screen

•

An example of changeover of the base screen is shown below.
Setting for changeover of the base screen (in "Change Screen" in Common Setting" in the
screen creation software)

Base screen

: D0 (initial value)

Overlap window 1: Not set (Screen overlay will not be performed.)

Overlap window 2: Not set (Screen overlay will not be performed.)

•Immediately after the GOT becomes the screen mode,

screen No. 1 is always displayed. (If the screen No. 1
has not been created, the error message "DISPLAY
SCREEN IS NOT AVAILABLE." is displayed.)

•When the sequence program shown below is executed,

the screen is changed over in accordance with the
specification.

•

In this example, the word device D0 used to specify the base screen, is not located in the
battery backup area. Accordingly, if the screen mode is selected in the GOT while the PLC
is in the stop status, the error message "DISPLAY SCREEN IS NOT AVAILABLE." is dis-
played. If the error message is not desired, use a word device in the battery backup area.
