Take an appropriate measure according to the indication on the LCD on the front of the printer.

Remove Ink

1. Remove the exit paper tray. (See

page 7

2. Press the front release button and pull out the slide

door until it stops.

3. Take the ink ribbon cassette out of the printer.

Remove Ink

1. Check that the paper remains at the platen and pull

it out downward.

• Be careful not to tear the paper. Paper remaining

inside the printer causes a paper jam.

2. Cut off the defective part of the print paper with

scissors.

• Cut the paper as straight and horizontal as

possible.

control panel for a while to unlock the front cover
