Directory
The context-sensitive
Pers. Dir
key (
Voir “Description of the terminal”, page 1
) can be
used to access the internal directory stored on the terminal, and the external contacts de-
fined either in the corporate directory or in the personal contacts (from Outlook Exchange).
Note
: Contact the system operator for information on how to activate this context-sensitive
key, the available external resources and the required identification information.
The internal directory is always available whereas access to some directory data from ex-
ternal sources (Enterprise Directory or Microsoft Exchange) depends on the configuration
made by the operator. If these accesses are available, they require some identification in-
formation.
IMPORTANT
: When the
Pers. Dir
key is available as context-sensitive key; the context-
sensitive
Directory
key should not appear (depending on system configu-
ration).
The call is made exclusively from the internal directory of the terminal and/
or from external directories as described in this chapter.
General directory functions
Checking or calling from the personal directory (no external directory configured)
1 - Press the
Pers. dir.
key. (
Voir “Description of the terminal”,
)
-> The existing recordings are displayed in form of a list on the
right side of the screen.
2 - For a quick search in the
search area (on the top
right side), use the displayed alphabetic keypad to enter the
character string on which you wish to make the search.
3 - Select the subscriber to call from the touchscreen.
4 - To call the correspondent, lift the handset or press the
Dial
key .
5 - If the record contains several phone numbers, select the
corresponding label and lift the handset or press
Dial
